Pineapple
The Pineapple plant originates originally from South and Central America and belongs to the sweetgrass plants (Bromelia). Today the soil is cultivated in all tropical and subtropical latitudes. The fruit of the pineapple plant can be harvested in 12-13 months depending on local conditions.
Crowns and sprouts of the plant-fruit stem are placed in the ground after the cutting the Pineapple and grow to new fruit-bearing perennials. The fields of the plantations are designed to be harvested all year round.
